Abstract


At a time of major changes in higher education, Félix E. González Jiménez and the research team that he leads together present a proposal in this book for the selection, training and practice of teachers and lecturers in the education system (termed "research teaching staff" by the authors). It draws on a study that looks into the new demands of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and considers how to meet and strengthen them. This is a reflexive, critical and innovative book that aims to establish how this can be done in the higher education context in this new era.
