The Facebook Project and Post-University. Social Operating Systems and Open Learning Environments, by Alejandro Piscitelli, Iván Adaime ang Inés Binder (comp.) (2010)

Ana María Rodera Bermúdez

Abstract

The Facebook project, which was put into practice in the Chair in Introduction to Information Technology, Telematics and Data Processing and led by professor Alejandro Piscitelli, is presented as a reason for experimenting with the edupunk approach to teaching and learning practices resulting from a do-it-yourself (DIY) attitude in the university context. The objective is to surmount the challenge connected with the need to innovate in the field of teaching practices by seeking out new pedagogical models to respond to the changes taking place in the educational arena.
